I’m revealing some of the basic rules for effective mind reading tricks and the foundation of the effects, which I follow while performing.
Mind reading is state of art of presenting seemingly paranormal effects in an entertaining manner. Reading people’s mind is inherently threatening. Consider do people really want to have their minds read? Would you like to have your mind read? For real? Suppose you really could read minds and reveal people’s innermost thoughts. Do you really think they would like that? They would get away from you as fast as possible, or they might even kill you.
But as a mind reader you can’t right away say you are doing it. It shouldn’t be known.
The Basic Rules for Stunning Results
- I will create the impression that it’s not minds that I can read, just very clearly defined thoughts.
- I never use any materials that were obviously purchased at a magic shop. If I use them people will assume that I’m a magician.
- All mind reading tricks must be clean, direct, and brief.
- I will avoid effects, which require the person to do mathematics, counting lines in books, etc. The reason should be obvious. More than likely they will make a mistake. People tend to get nervous when doing even the simplest tasks before their friends and public.
- The performance of successful mind reading creates implied claims and those claims must be consistent. I create the impression that I can receive thoughts if they are properly projected to me.
- I always make things as easy as possible for my volunteers.
- I use humor effectively. TRUST ME, when he / she can laugh out with me, they will start liking me for sure and feel very comfortable with me. Preferably, the humor flow should be natural from the tricks performed.
Do not rush any of your own tricks. Mine is much more DRAMATIC and REALISTIC to show things and reveal the mind reading tricks / predictions piece by piece. Also, master the skill of reading body language clusters to understand exactly what is going on in your prospect’s mind.
